Contouring and Highlighting for Beginners
This is an easy, contouring and highlighting for beginners. Its purpose is to emphasize the angles of your face and hide your flaws.
- Apply a generous amount of highlighter below your eyes, on your cheeks, just where your cheekbone is, on your nose, chin and on the forehead with an upward motion.
- Apply bronzer on the upper line of your forehead, on your cheekbones and around your nose. You can contour a little below your underlip.
- Blend the colors well until they create shadows and are not obvious.
You can see how
there are more angles and emphasis on your good sides now! Don’t forget to add
some blusher to your cheeks. Finish with a light or strong eye makeup,
depending on the occasion you are preparing for.

Bold Eye – Vibrant Lip Makeup
Like in fashion, rules in makeup should not be considered. The bolder and wilder you are, the more successful you might be in expressing yourself. Many times we have heard that if you are doing a strong eye makeup, you should do a nude lip, and the other way around too: red lipstick does not go with black smoky eyes. That has changed! You can do both a strong eye and lip and look fashionable and stylish in the same time. Here is one idea:
- With the help of a very small thin brush, apply a dark eyeliner contour from the inner end of your eye to its outside.
- Using brush and a colorful liquid eyeliner or an eyeshadow, draw a brightly colored line over the black one. Make it thicker and longer than the basic one.
- Now do a bold lip in bright red!
Adding color to your makeup routine and being crazier with it is not a bad thing and the best time to do it is definitely summer!

Some people develop a complex even because of some facial differences, such as a bigger forehead. Well, that’s normal, because we are all human and shouldn't be judged because of the way we are born. But if you still feel insecure about something like that, you can change it with just a tad of makeup!
What do we do? We contour! Just grab your concealer and foundation and apply the products on your forehead as shown in the picture below.
